El revolucionario diseño de ‘Halo’ mantiene el leitmotiv de Cork Oak Mansion de ofrecer la posibilidad de vivir en auténticas “esculturas habitables”. La geometría semicircular que define su forma principal toma como inspiración la conocida obra ‘Elogio do Horizonte’ de Eduardo Chillida en Gijón, de tal forma que esta vivienda parece una verdadera escultura que emerge del suelo. El impresionante resultado final es una villa que, favorecida a su vez por la topografía del terreno, envuelve el espacio con privacidad al mismo tiempo que se abre al imponente paisaje junto al mirador de La Reserva.
El vacío generado a partir de la figura semicircular permite un patio y una piscina que demarcan el horizonte, mientras que, sobre la casa, una gran terraza aprovecha al máximo sus zonas construidas para el confort y ocio de los residentes.
La villa cuenta con 1.210 metros de superficie construida que desciende por la parcela de casi 2.500 m². ‘Halo’ cuenta con siete dormitorios, todos con vistas totalmente abiertas al golf con el mar de fondo, además de área de estudio y baño privado. Located at the foot of the course next to the 13th hole of the La Reserva Club course, with an exceptional panoramic view that blends golf and the Mediterranean Sea in the background, whilst maintaining privacy, ‘Halo’ is the first of the Cork Oak Mansion villas at La Reserva. It is the third of the projects designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos’ studio to have been completed.
The revolutionary design of ‘Halo’ upholds Cork Oak Mansion’s leitmotiv of providing the possibility of living in authentic ‘habitable sculptures’. The semi-circular geometry that defines its main form takes its inspiration from Eduardo Chillida’s well-known work ‘Elogio do Horizonte’ in Gijón, so that this house looks like a real sculpture emerging from the ground. The impressive end result is a villa which, in turn favoured by the topography of the land, envelops the space with privacy while opening up to the imposing landscape next to La Reserva scenic viewpoint.
The void generated by the semicircular shape allows a patio and swimming pool to define the horizon, while a large terrace above the house makes the most of its built areas for the comfort and leisure of its residents.
The villa has 1,210 metres of constructed area that descends over a plot of almost 2,500 m². Halo’ has seven bedrooms, all with wide open views of the golf course and the sea in the background, as well as a study area and private bathroom. Inside, the circadian lighting offers automatic dimming of the light levels to provide extra comfort at any time of the day.
The house has two outdoor swimming pools, one measuring 20×4 metres in the central courtyard and the other measuring 7.5×6 metres in a circular geometry, which facilitates its use as a sports and leisure facility. In addition, the presence of a water sheet at the end of the terraces generates a feeling of freshness and brings light into the house. It also has a wellness area equipped with a gym and spa with a sauna and heated swimming pool.
