The Owners Club y The Hills, con una inversión inicial de más de 320 millones de euros, supondrán un gran impulso para esta actividad tan representativa de la zona, que atrae a nuevos residentes y turismo de calidad
Polo Valley presentó el pasado 9 de mayo dos ambiciosos planes de desarrollo en Casares y San Roque, The Owners Club, en El Secadero y The Hills, junto a Sotogrande. Ambos proyectos, que incluyen nuevas instalaciones dedicadas a este deporte, además de desarrollos residenciales y comerciales para aprovechar su atractivo turístico, parten con una inversión conjunta superior a los 320 millones de euros.
Durante la presentación, celebrada ante diferentes representantes instiucionales, empresarios y medios de comunicación del Campo de Gibraltar y la Costa del Sol en las instalaciones de Polo Valley, su fundador Christian Byrne detalló ambas iniciativas. El CEO de la empresa promoora explicó que ambos proyectos son “una evolución natural del legado” de la marca, invirtiendo en un estilo de vida en el que se unen deporte, arquitectura y crecimiento sostenible, apostando además “por situar al Campo de Gibraltar como capital europea del polo”.
The Owners Club incluirá una pista de polo reglamentaria, seis establos privados con capacidad para 72 caballos y generará empleo estable para 25 profesionales, convirtiéndose en el mayor recinto dedicado al polo del sur de Europa.
Por su parte, The Hills se extenderá sobre 34 hectáreas frente al mar en San Roque, a pocos metros de Sotogrande, y contará con un campo de polo con vistas al Estrecho, un hotel 5 estrellas, centro de bienestar internacional, beach club, 16 villas de lujo, el exclusivo centro comercial The Boulevard y un hospital privado de última generación. Este desarrollo prevé la creación de más de 750 empleos entre directos e indirectos.
Los alcaldes de Casares y San Roque, Juan Luis Villalón y Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, expresaron públicamente el apoyo de sus respectivos ayuntamientos al planeamiento presentado por Polo Valley, destacando ambos su importancia estratégica para sus respectivos municipios.

Polo Valley launches new developments in Casares and San Roque to establish the region as the epicentre of polo in Europe
The Owners Club and The Hills, with an initial investment of more than 320 million euros, will provide a significant boost to this activity, which is so representative of the area, attracting new residents and high-quality tourism.
On May 9th, Polo Valley unveiled two ambitious development plans in Casares and San Roque: The Owners Club, in El Secadero, and The Hills, next to Sotogrande. Both projects, which include new facilities dedicated to the sport, as well as residential and commercial developments to take advantage of their tourist appeal, have a combined investment of over 320 million euros.
During the presentation, held before various institutional representatives, businesspeople, and media from the Campo de Gibraltar and Costa del Sol at the Polo Valley facilities, the founder, Christian Byrne, outlined both initiatives. The CEO of the development company explained that these projects are “a natural evolution of the brand’s legacy,” investing in a lifestyle that merges sport, architecture, and sustainable growth, and also aiming “to position the Campo de Gibraltar as the European capital of polo.”
The Owners Club will feature a regulation polo field, six private stables with a capacity for 72 horses, and will generate stable employment for 25 professionals, becoming the largest polo facility in Southern Europe.
Meanwhile, The Hills will span 34 hectares in San Roque, just a few metres from Sotogrande, and will include a polo field with views of the Strait, a five-star hotel, an international wellness centre, a beach club, 16 luxury villas, the exclusive shopping centre The Boulevard, and a state-of-the-art private hospital. This development is expected to create more than 750 direct and indirect jobs.
The mayors of Casares and San Roque, Juan Luis Villalón and Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, publicly expressed their support for the plans presented by Polo Valley, highlighting their strategic importance for their respective municipalities.
