El mal tiempo no impidió que vecinos y visitantes disfrutaran de los concursos de disfraces y la música en la carpa
Guadiaro pudo disfrutar de su Carnaval 2025 a pesar de que la lluvia hiciera acto de aparición, especialmente destacada en la primera jornada, el sábado 8 de marzo. Esa misma tarde, a escasos minutos de que se iniciase el tradicional Pasacalles de disfraces con salida en el campo de fútbol, un intenso aguacero obligó a cancelar el evento, trasladando directamente la fiesta a la carpa del recinto ferial.
A pesar de este contratiempo, en la carpa instalada en el recinto se dieron cita decenas de vecinos de todo el valle del Guadiaro para disfrutar de las fiestas y participar en los concursos de disfraces, que se celebraron a lo largo de la tarde y la noche.
Tras comenzar con una animación infantil dedicada a los más pequeños, los concursantes de todas las categorías (individual, parejas y grupos) fueron mostrando sus originales disfraces mientras disfrutaban del ambiente en la carpa y alrededores. Tras las sucesivas entregas de premios sobre el escenario, la fiesta continuó con música hasta bien entrada la noche.
El domingo 9 la jornada comenzó al mediodía con la Gran Fiesta Infantil que dio paso a las actuaciones de diferentes agrupaciones carnavalescas a partir de las 14:00 horas. La diversión continuó durante la tarde con las atracciones instaladas en el recinto ferial abiertas hasta las 18:00, añadiendo más diversión a este Carnaval 2025 de Guadiaro que ni la lluvia fue capaz de impedir.

Guadiaro held its Carnival in spite of the rain
The bad weather did not stop locals and visitors from enjoying the costume contests and music in the marquee.
Guadiaro was able to celebrate its 2025 Carnival in spite of the rain, especially on the first day, Saturday the 8th of March. That same afternoon, just a few minutes before the traditional costume parade was due to start at the football pitch, an intense downpour forced the event to be cancelled, and the party was moved directly to the marquee at the fairgrounds.
Despite this setback, dozens of locals from all over the Guadiaro valley gathered in the marquee to enjoy the festivities and take part in the costume contests, which were held throughout the afternoon and evening.
After starting with a children’s show dedicated to the youngest, the contestants in all categories (individual, couples and groups) showed off their original costumes while enjoying the ambience in and around the marquee. After the successive prize-giving ceremonies on stage, the party continued with music until late into the night.
On Sunday the 9th the day began at midday with the Great Children’s Party which gave way to performances by different carnival groups from 2pm onwards. The fun continued during the afternoon with the rides and attractions installed in the fairgrounds open until 6pm, adding more fun to this 2025 Carnival in Guadiaro that not even the rain was able to stop.
