La Hacienda ha invertido significativamente en sus instalaciones de golf y ocio en los últimos tres años, con mejoras realizadas que incluyen amplias renovaciones de sus dos campos de campeonato de 18 hoyos, Links y Heathland, la apertura de una casa club recientemente renovada y el lanzamiento de un nueva casa de transición.
El campo Links, que reabrió sus puertas en julio de 2022 tras un importante rediseño realizado por Kurtis Bowman, fue nombrado ‘Mejor campo de golf de España’ en los World Golf Awards 2023 y parece que habrá más buenas noticias para el complejo en 2024 tras registrar un inicio récord. Las últimas cifras reveladas por el galardonado resort de Andalucía muestran que sus ingresos totales aumentaron más del 50 por ciento el año pasado en comparación con su año récord anterior en 2019.
La Hacienda Links Golf Resort ya está celebrando un honor internacional después de ganar el codiciado premio Silver Flag Destination en la reciente edición inaugural de Service Excellence Awards de 59club Europe en reconocimiento a la experiencia de golf de cinco estrellas que ofrece.
El premio reconoce el excelente servicio al cliente en la industria del golf y Fernando Padrón, gerente general de golf de La Hacienda, y la directora de ventas y marketing del resort, Ana Berbel Rendón, estuvieron presentes para recibir el principal honor en una brillante ceremonia de entrega de premios en Camiral. Los prestigiosos Premios a la Excelencia en el Servicio de 59club reconocen a los equipos y gerentes destacados dentro de la industria del golf que constantemente brindan las mejores experiencias a sus miembros e invitados, cubriendo todos los aspectos de las operaciones de golf y hotelería.
Todos los lugares nominados fueron evaluados y puntuados a través de un programa de Mystery Shopping detallado y objetivo que cubrió un período de 12 meses a lo largo de 2023, con propiedades evaluadas según la experiencia brindada a los huéspedes, miembros y miembros potenciales frente a criterios objetivos de evaluación comparativa.

La Hacienda Links Golf Resort’s decision to undertake a major upgrade of its golf and lifestyle facilities has paid instant dividend after the luxury 36-hole Spanish venue reported a record-breaking year in 2023.
Latest figures revealed by the award-winning resort in Andalucia show that its total revenues increased by more than 50 per cent last year compared to its previous record year in 2019.
La Hacienda has invested significantly in its golf and leisure facilities in the last three years, with upgrades made including extensive renovations of its two 18-hole championship courses, the Links and the Heathland, the opening of a newly refurbished clubhouse and the launch of a new halfway house.
The Links course, which reopened in July 2022 after a major redesign by Kurtis Bowman, was named ‘Best Golf Course in Spain’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and more good news looks set to follow for the resort in 2024 after recording a record start to the year.
La Hacienda Links Golf Resort is already celebrating one international honour after winning the coveted Silver Flag Destination accolade at the recent 59club Europe’s inaugural Service Excellence Awards in recognition of the five-star golf experience it offers.
The award recognises outstanding customer service in the golf industry and Fernando Padrón, golf general manager at La Hacienda, and the resort’s sales & marketing director, Ana Berbel Rendón, were on hand to receive the leading honour at a glittering prize-giving ceremony at Camiral Golf & Wellness.
59club’s prestigious Service Excellence Awards recognise the outstanding teams and managers within the golf industry which consistently deliver the finest customer experiences for their members and guests – covering all aspects of golf and hospitality operations.
All venues nominated were assessed and scored through a detailed and objective mystery shopping programme that covered a 12-month period throughout 2023, with properties evaluated by the experience afforded to guests, members and prospective members against objective benchmarking criteria.

Located in the Cadiz municipality of San Roque close to Sotogrande, La Hacienda’s Links course runs along the beachfront with spectacular views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa, and has been one of the biggest course renovation projects to be undertaken in Europe in recent years.
In addition to other improvements it has made, the resort is continuing preparations to launch a new Fairmont hotel and villas in the near future – underlining the resort’s ambition to become one of the most exclusive and luxurious golf developments in Spain.
