A partir del próximo 21 de julio y hasta finales de agosto, Ayala Polo Club instalará en Los Pinos esta zona gastronómica y de ocio con barras y foodtrucks que servirán de complemento perfecto al espectáculo del polo para el disfrute de todos los públicos

Ayala Polo Club sigue impulsando la actividad del polo en Sotogrande, añadiendo más actividades y ofertas complementarias para garantizar una experiencia completa de diversión y ocio a todos los visitantes.

Para este verano de 2023, el club organizador de la temporada oficial del polo en Sotogrande lanza una decidida apuesta por el ocio y la gastronomía complementando al espectáculo deportivo con la apertura de ‘Last Chukker’ durante las principales semanas de la temporada de polo.

A partir del 21 de julio esta zona gastronómica y de ocio estará abierta desde las 17.00 horas en el exterior del pabellón principal, entre las canchas 3 y 4 de Los Pinos, para poder disfrutar de todo lo que ofrecerá al visitante durante y después de los partidos de polo, permaneciendo abierto hasta aproximadamente la media noche, dependiendo de la jornada.

Last Chukker supondrá un impulso al carácter de evento social que también tiene este espectáculo deportivo tan tradicional en Sotogrande, disponiendo de una zona de barra y diversos puestos de comida y food trucks de grandes y reconocidas marcas nacionales e internacionales, que ofrecerán un auténtico viaje culinario por la gastronomía más conocida y tradicional de diferentes partes del mundo.

Entre ellos, podremos encontrar destacados nombres como Good Stuff Hot Dogs, propiedad de Cesar Ruiz de los afamados restaurantes José Luis en Madrid, con exquisitos perritos gourmet. También estará presente Good Stuff Mex, con tacos, burritos y más variedad de típica comida mexicana de primerísima calidad; Pizza by Alduccio, procedente de una pizzeria emblemática e histórica de Madrid y su propietario Aldo estará personalmente atendiendo a sus nuevos clientes de Sotogrande.

Este recorrido gastronómico por el mundo se completará con otras opciones como Roostiq, una firma que cuenta con restaurantes en Madrid y Marbella y que se caracteriza por utilizar sólo productos que provienen de su granja y huerto ecológico, garantizando su frescura y calidad. La zona de restauración del polo en Los Pinos también contará con un puesto de Bribón de Madrid, conocido restaurante del grupo Gunilla, que presentará en Sotogrande su  famoso mollete de solomillo. Y para el postre, contaremos con deliciosas opciones como los riquísimos helados artesanales de la firma Belado, entre otras firmas presentes en Los Pinos.

Además de la comida, la diversión estará asegurada cada jornada al término de los partidos de polo con la música que ofrecerán actuaciones en directo y dj para amenizar la mayor parte de las veladas del verano, haciendo hincapié en las finales de copa.

Concretamente, para los partidos finales correspondientes a las Copas de Bronce, Plata y Oro del Torneo Internacional de Polo de Sotogrande, ya están confirmadas las actuaciones de Cosita Wena para el día 29 de julio, en el que se habrá disputado la final de la Copa de Bronce ATL Marine & Energy; el 12 de Agosto, para la final de la Copa de Plata Terralpa vendrá Juan Peña, Third Floor Rock y «Jack» Truck Rail, con un espectacular y típico autobús amarillo de Estados Unidos; y ya el 27 de Agosto, tras la disputa de la gran final del polo, el cierre festivo y musical correrá a cargo del famoso grupo sevillano Siempre Así.

Con todo ello, un año más la temporada alta del polo en Sotogrande se convertirá en una cita ineludible durante los principales meses del verano, garantizando que cada visita a Los Pinos pueda estar cargada de diversión desde las primeras horas de la tarde hasta la llegada de la media noche.

Last Chukker: music, entertainment, and a world of flavours at Sotogrande’s Polo Season

The Ayala Polo Club will set up this gastronomic and leisure area in Los Pinos starting on the 21st of July and until the end of August, with bars and food trucks that will serve as the perfect complement to the polo spectacle enjoyed by the public at large.

Ayala Polo Club continues to promote the polo industry in Sotogrande, adding more activities and complementary offers to guarantee a complete experience of fun and leisure for all visitors.

For this summer 2023, the club organiser of the official polo season in Sotogrande is making a firm commitment to leisure and gastronomy, complementing the sporting spectacle with the opening of ‘Last Chukker’ during the main weeks of the polo season.

From the 21st of July this gastronomic and leisure area will be open at 5pm outside the main pavilion, between fields 3 and 4 of Los Pinos, so that visitors can enjoy everything it has to offer during and after the polo matches, remaining open until approximately midnight, depending on the day.

Last Chukker will boost the social character of this traditional sporting event in Sotogrande, with a bar area and various food stalls and food trucks of large and renowned national and international brands, which will offer a culinary journey through the most famous and traditional cuisine from around the world.

Among them, we can find prominent names such as Good Stuff Hot Dogs, owned by Cesar Ruiz of the famous José Luis restaurants in Madrid, serving exquisite gourmet hot dogs. Good Stuff Mex will also be present, offering tacos, burritos, and a variety of typical Mexican food of the highest quality; Pizza by Alduccio, from an emblematic and historic pizzeria in Madrid and its owner Aldo will be personally attending to his new Sotogrande customers.

This gastronomic tour around the world will be rounded off with other options such as Roostiq, a brand that has restaurants in Madrid and Marbella and is characterised by using only products that come from its organic farm and vegetable garden, guaranteeing their freshness and quality. The polo restaurant area at Los Pinos will also have a stall from the well-known restaurant Bribón de Madrid, part of the Gunilla group, which will be serving its famous sirloin steak in Sotogrande. As for dessert, there will be delicious options such as the exquisite handmade ice creams from Belado, among other companies present at Los Pinos.

In addition to the food, entertainment will be guaranteed every day after the polo matches with live performances and DJs to liven up most of the summer evenings, with an emphasis on the cup finals.

Specifically, for the final matches corresponding to the Bronze, Silver and Gold Cups of the Sotogrande International Polo Tournament, the performances of Cosita Wena are already confirmed for the 29th of July, when the final of the Bronze Cup ATL Marine & Energy will have been played; On the 12th of August, for the final of the Silver Cup Terralpa Juan Peña, Third Floor Rock and ‘Jack’ Truck Rail will perform in a spectacular and very typical yellow bus from the United States; finally on the 27th of August, after the polo final, the closing party and music will be provided by the famous Sevillian group Siempre Así.

All in all, once again the polo high season in Sotogrande will prove to be an unmissable event during the main summer months, ensuring that every visit to Los Pinos can be packed with entertainment from the early afternoon until the arrival of midnight.
