Esta reconocida revista de Sotogrande presenta en su portada un original dibujo de este prestigioso artista creado en exclusiva para esta publicación
KE Magazine presentó a mediados de junio su edición de verano 2024 en KE Sotogrande en un encuentro en el que destacó la presencia del gran protagonista del último número de esta publicación, el reconocido ilustrador, diseñador gráfico y artista Óscar Mariné Brandi.
Además de incluir entre sus páginas una interesante entrevista con este referente de las artes gráficas y la comunicación publicitaria en España, esta edición de KE Magazine presenta como gran novedad en su portada un diseño original del propio Mariné.
Rompiendo con su diseño habitual, en lugar de incluir en portada la habitual foto del principal protagonista de cada número, en esta ocasión tan especial KE Magazine ha sorprendido presentando un dibujo creado ex profeso por el propio Mariné en exclusiva para esta publicación, inspirándose, según sus propias palabras, en la imagen de la mujer de Sotogrande.
“Es un detalle que he querido tener con KE Magazine porque se lo merecen”, confirmaba Mariné a SGplus. “La entrevista ha sido cuidadísima, ha llevado tiempo y trabajo pero lo hemos pasado muy bien”.
“Poder hacer un dibujo dedicado a las mujeres tan guapas que hay en Sotogrande ha sido todo un honor. Me gusta mucho hacer esas imágenes de síntesis que representen la belleza de la mujer y estoy contento porque ha quedado muy bien”, reconocía el protagonista de la edición del verano 2024 de KE Magazine.
Tras toda una vida dedicada a las artes gráficas, trabajando la imagen de marca de prestigiosas compañías nacionales y internacionales y realizando históricas portadas del cine español como ‘El Día de la Bestia’ de Álex de la Iglesia y ‘Todo sobre mi madre’ de Pedro Almodóvar, entre muchas otras, Mariné sigue en plena actividad al frente de su equipo desde su estudio.
No obstante, este artista madrileño reconoce estar cada vez más volcado en la pintura, otra de sus grandes pasiones. “Ahora estoy pintando mucho, una labor más lenta y íntima. Pero siguen surgiendo un montón de proyectos y es un placer poder seguir haciendo de todo”, nos comentaba Mariné, que declaraba además su predilección por Sotogrande. “Es un paraíso, tan bonito que se te van los ojos. La gente además es maravillosa y muy divertida. Yo soy muy del Sur y me encanta esta zona”.

Óscar Mariné takes centre stage in KE Magazine’s Summer 2024 issue
This renowned Sotogrande magazine features an original drawing by the prestigious artist on its cover, created exclusively for this publication.
The summer edition of KE Magazine 2024 was presented in mid-June at KE Sotogrande in a meeting in which the main protagonist of the last issue of this publication, the renowned illustrator, graphic designer and artist Óscar Mariné Brandi, was present.
In addition to including in its pages an interesting interview with this leading figure in the graphic arts and advertising communication in Spain, this edition of KE Magazine includes an original design by Mariné himself on its cover as a great new feature.
Breaking with its usual design, instead of including the usual photograph of the main protagonist of each issue on the cover, KE Magazine has surprisingly presented a drawing created by Mariné himself exclusively for this publication, inspired, in his own words, by the image of the Sotogrande woman.
«It is a nice gesture that I wanted to have with KE Magazine because it is well deserved», confirmed Mariné to SGplus. «The interview has been meticulous, it has taken time and work, yet we have had a great time».
“ It has been an honour to be able to draw a picture dedicated to the beautiful women in Sotogrande. I really like to make these images of synthesis that represent the beauty of women and I am happy because it has turned out very well”, acknowledged the protagonist of the summer 2024 edition of KE Magazine.
After a lifetime dedicated to graphic arts, working on the brand image of prestigious national and international companies and creating historic Spanish film covers such as Álex de la Iglesia’s ‘The Day of the Beast’ and Pedro Almodóvar’s ‘All about my mother’, among many others, Mariné is still very active as head of his team at his studio.
However, the Madrid-born artist admits that he is increasingly focused on painting, another of his great passions. “Now I am painting quite a lot, more slowly and intimately. However, a lot of projects keep coming up and it is a pleasure to be able to continue working on everything,” said Mariné, who also declared his predilection for Sotogrande. “It’s a paradise, so beautiful that your eyes are drawn to it. The people are also wonderful and very funny. I belong to the South and I love this area”.
