Este mes de febrero, en SGplus cumplimos seis años desde que aquel primer número salió de la imprenta para encontrarse con vosotros. Se dice pronto, pero este tiempo ha sido, ante todo, un aprendizaje compartido. Sin embargo, más que detenernos en celebraciones propias, este aniversario nos llega en un momento que nos obliga a mirar hacia afuera, hacia nuestras calles y nuestros campos.
Las intensas borrascas que han azotado con dureza a nuestra zona en las últimas semanas han dejado una huella profunda. Hemos visto la fuerza desmedida del agua transformar paisajes que nos son familiares y poner a prueba nuestra entereza. Son momentos de incertidumbre donde la naturaleza nos recuerda nuestra vulnerabilidad.
No obstante, en SGplus mantenemos intacta nuestra vocación de informar siempre desde el lado positivo, y lo cierto es que, incluso en el desastre, lo mejor de nuestra comunidad ha vuelto a manifestarse. Lo positivo no es el daño causado, sino la solidaridad inquebrantable que ha brotado de inmediato. No han faltado manos para ayudar al vecino, ni mensajes de apoyo, ni una voluntad firme de arrimar el hombro allí donde más hacía falta. Esa capacidad de respuesta es lo que realmente nos define.
Cumplir seis años en estas circunstancias nos reafirma en nuestra misión: ser el altavoz de una sociedad que, ante la adversidad, no se rinde. A pesar de los estragos del temporal, nos quedamos con la calidez del apoyo mutuo y la valentía de quienes ya trabajan para reconstruir lo perdido. Gracias por permitirnos formar parte de vuestras vidas durante este tiempo y, sobre todo, por demostrarnos una vez más que el corazón es mucho más fuerte que cualquier borrasca.

The strength of our unity
This February, SGplus celebrates its sixth anniversary since that very first issue left the press to meet all of you. It is easy to say, but these years have been, above all, a journey of collective learning. However, rather than pausing for our own celebrations, this anniversary arrives at a time that compels us to look outward, toward our streets and our fields.
The intense storms that have battered our region over recent weeks have left a profound mark. We have witnessed the unbridled power of water transforming landscapes we once knew well, putting our resilience to the ultimate test. These are moments of uncertainty, where nature serves as a stark reminder of our own vulnerability.
Nevertheless, at SGplus, our commitment to reporting through a positive lens remains unshaken. The truth is that even in the midst of disaster, the best of our community has shone through once again. The «positive» is not the damage caused, but the unwavering solidarity that emerged immediately in its wake. There has been no shortage of hands to help a neighbor, no lack of messages of support, nor of a steadfast will to lean in wherever help was needed most. This capacity for response is what truly defines us.
Reaching our sixth year under these circumstances only reaffirms our mission: to be the voice of a society that refuses to surrender in the face of adversity. Despite the havoc wrought by the storm, we choose to focus on the warmth of mutual support and the courage of those already working to rebuild what was lost. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives throughout this time and, above all, for proving once again that the human heart is far stronger than any storm.
