Sotogrande se reafirmó recientemente como el epicentro del pensamiento urbanístico y la sostenibilidad con la celebración del ciclo de conferencias “Habitar el futuro. Naturaleza, Valor y Comunidad”. El encuentro, organizado por Sotogrande, S.A. junto a la Federación Provincial de Agrupaciones de Empresarios de la Construcción de Cádiz (FAEC), reunió en The Beach – La Reserva Club a destacados expertos para analizar los retos del desarrollo territorial responsable
La jornada, que congregó a una nutrida representación institucional y empresarial de la provincia, puso el foco en la necesidad de integrar el paisaje y el valor social en la creación de los entornos del futuro.
El evento contó con la participación de José Carlos Díez, economista y profesor de Macroeconomía, quien ofreció una conferencia marco sobre el contexto global y los desafíos financieros que afronta el sector. Su análisis sirvió de antesala para una mesa redonda de alto nivel titulada “Del entorno natural al entorno habitable: una visión sostenible”.
Moderado por David Paramio (Tinsa by Accumin), el debate plural permitió confrontar visiones entre la administración pública y el sector privado. Participaron figuras clave como Paula Vilches (Decana del COAC Cádiz), Nicolás Moncada (Ayuntamiento de San Roque), Tristán López-Chicheri (L35 Architects) y Juan Marín (Biotonomy).
Durante el encuentro, quedó patente que la sostenibilidad ya no es una opción, sino un pilar estratégico para el desarrollo económico de Cádiz. Los ponentes coincidieron en que el modelo de éxito de Sotogrande debe seguir evolucionando hacia una armonía total con el entorno natural, donde la arquitectura y el urbanismo actúen como protectores del ecosistema y generadores de comunidad.
El evento concluyó con un cóctel en las instalaciones de La Reserva Club, donde los asistentes pudieron intercambiar impresiones sobre las conclusiones de una mañana marcada por la visión a largo plazo y la responsabilidad territorial. Con este ciclo, Sotogrande y FAEC consolidan una alianza necesaria para liderar el cambio hacia un urbanismo con propósito.

Sotogrande recently reaffirmed its position as a hub for urban planning thought and sustainability with the hosting of the conference series “Living the Future: Nature, Value and Community”. The event, organised by Sotogrande S.A. in collaboration with the Provincial Federation of Construction Business Associations of Cádiz (FAEC), brought together leading experts at The Beach – La Reserva Club to analyse the challenges of responsible territorial development
The event, which attracted a strong institutional and business presence from across the province, focused on the need to integrate landscape and social value into the creation of future environments.
The programme featured José Carlos Díez, economist and Professor of Macroeconomics, who delivered a keynote address on the global context and the financial challenges facing the sector. His analysis set the scene for a high-level round table entitled “From the Natural Environment to the Habitable Environment: a Sustainable Vision”.
Moderated by David Paramio (Tinsa by Accumin), the wide-ranging debate enabled different perspectives from public administration and the private sector to be explored.
