  • Entorno y paisaje: Flanqueada por La Hacienda Links Golf Resort y el complejo hotelero Fairmont La Hacienda, es una playa de arena fina y oscura, con un oleaje moderado ideal para el baño.
  • Servicios básicos e infraestructuras: Dispone de módulos de aseos públicos, duchas, lavapiés, servicio diario de limpieza de arenas, contenedores para la recogida selectiva de residuos y torretas de vigilancia con socorristas durante toda la temporada estival.

Playa de Sotogrande / Guadalquitón y Borondo

Este tramo, que conecta la zona residencial de Sotogrande con el espacio natural protegido de Guadalquitón, cuenta con más de 5 km de playa de arena oscura. Es una playa de oleaje moderado y comienza junto a la desembocadura del río Guadiaro y finaliza en la zona del Faro de Torrecarbonera

  • Bandera Azul: Al tratarse en su gran mayoría de una playa de corte rústico, natural y lindando con zona verde protegida, no cuenta con este galardón, ya que se prima la conservación del ecosistema dunar. Sus aguas son limpias, abiertas y cristalinas.
  • Entorno y ambiente: Es una playa muy extensa, flanqueada por zonas de alcornocal y dunas protegidas en su vertiente hacia Guadalquitón. Es ideal para conectar con la naturaleza.
  • Servicios básicos e infraestructuras: Al lindar con un entorno natural, los servicios públicos municipales son más limitados en la arena en comparación con las playas puramente urbanas. Cuenta con papeleras y limpieza en los accesos principales durante el verano y torres de vigilancia, pero carece de módulos fijos de ducha o aseos públicos para salvaguardar el entorno.
  • Accesibilidad y movilidad reducida: Su acceso es más complejo en la zona virgen. No está especialmente recomendada para personas con movilidad reducida severa, ya que para llegar a la línea de costa es necesario caminar por senderos naturales y zonas de arena blanda sin pasarelas rígidas en gran parte del tramo. Por otra parte, en la parte urbanizada, junto al club de pádel, se encuentra una pasarela de acceso para usuarios que tengan dificultades o necesiten sillas anfibias para acceder a la arena.

  • Chiringuitos y ocio: Aunque la playa en sí es virgen y no permite construcciones sobre la arena por restricciones ambientales, en su acceso principal se levanta Trocadero Sotogrande, ubicado en las instalaciones del antiguo e histórico club El Cucurucho. Este exclusivo club de playa cuenta con restaurantes de cocina mediterránea y piscinas y hamacas con vistas al mar, combinando la naturaleza salvaje de la playa con el confort más absoluto. Playa de los Catamaranes: Exclusividad y tradición náutica

Ubicada junto al Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande y delimitada en uno de sus extremos por el espigón de la marina, la playa de los Catamaranes es un enclave valorado por quienes buscan un ambiente discreto, tranquilo y alejado del turismo de masas. Sede histórica del Real Club Marítimo, destaca por su estrecha vinculación con los deportes de vela.

Playa de Cala Sardina : El último paraíso natural antes de Málaga

Situada a las afueras de Torreguadiaro en dirección a la provincia de Málaga, Cala Sardina es una de las playas con más encanto rústico y paisajístico de todo San Roque. Enmarcada por formaciones rocosas y acantilados bajos, es una zona muy valorada por los amantes del buceo de superficie y la tranquilidad.

  • Blue Flag: As this is largely a rustic, natural beach bordering a protected green area, it does not hold this award, as priority is given to the conservation of the dune ecosystem. Its waters are clean, open and crystal clear.

  • Surroundings and atmosphere: It is a very extensive beach, flanked by cork oak forests and protected dunes on its Guadalquitón side. It is ideal for connecting with nature.

  • Basic services and infrastructure: As it borders a natural environment, municipal public services are more limited on the sand compared to more urban beaches. It has litter bins and cleaning services at main access points during the summer, as well as lifeguard towers, but it lacks fixed shower or public toilet facilities in order to protect the environment.

  • Accessibility and reduced mobility: Access is more challenging in the wild areas. It is not especially suitable for people with severe reduced mobility, as reaching the shoreline requires walking along natural paths and soft sand areas without rigid walkways along much of the stretch.
