El histórico restaurante, uno de los decanos de la hostelería en Sotogrande, abrió las puertas de su nuevo establecimiento en el antiguo cortijo Valderrama
Con la ilusión de un debutante, a pesar de sus casi cuatro décadas de presencia en la zona, el restaurante Midas inició el pasado 21 de marzo un nuevo capítulo de su larga historia con su reapertura en su nueva ubicación.
Tras tener que cambiar su reconocida ubicación junto al puerto deportivo, este emblemático restaurante de Sotogrande renace en un nuevo emplazamiento no menos histórico, el antiguo cortijo Valderrama, situado junto al hotel El Encinar y Sotogrande Hípica.
En la noche inaugural, decenas de clientes y amigos acudieron a la cita en este 21 de marzo, que se convirtió en una feliz celebración por la nueva etapa para el restaurante de Luis Solano y José Antonio Martinez.
Mientras todo el equipo de Midas se afanaba en atender a los invitados con la misma calidad de siempre, tanto en el servicio como en su exquisita gastronomía, Luis ejercía de perfecto anfitrión con todo aquel que no quiso perderse esta ocasión tan señalada, comprobando por sí mismos el ambiente acogedor que ofrece el nuevo local.
De esta forma comenzaba esta nueva etapa para uno de los decanos de la hostelería en Sotogrande, que busca continuar su legado y seguir siendo un magnífico punto de encuentro, donde disfrutar además de la buena mesa que siempre ha caracterizado al Restaurante Midas.

Midas opens its new premises
This historic restaurant, one of the deans of the Sotogrande hospitality industry, opened the doors of its new premises in the former cortijo Valderrama.
With the enthusiasm of a newcomer, despite its almost four decades of presence in the area, the Midas restaurant began a new chapter in its long history. It reopened in its new location on the 21st of March.
After having to change its well-known location next to the marina, this emblematic restaurant of Sotogrande is reborn in a new location no less historic, the old cortijo Valderrama, located next to the hotel El Encinar and Sotogrande Hípica.
During the opening night, dozens of customers and friends attended the event on the 21st of March, which became a joyous celebration of a new phase for the restaurant led by Luis Solano and José Antonio Martinez.
While the entire Midas team was busy attending to the guests with the same excellent service and exquisite cuisine as always, Luis played the perfect host to all those who wished to attend this special occasion, seeing for themselves the welcoming atmosphere offered by the new premises.
Thus began this new phase for one of the deans of the hospitality industry in Sotogrande, which seeks to continue its legacy and continue to be a great gathering place, where to enjoy the fine dining that has always characterized the Midas Restaurant.
