SINERGIA reúne a un elenco de artistas contemporáneos en Fresco Marina en Sotogrande a lo largo de todo el mes de agosto.
BENJAMIN GOLD
Artista contemporáneo cuya obra en técnica mixta explora los conceptos de identidad y conexión humana. Fragmenta y reconstruye rostros y formas mediante la combinación de texturas, colores y diversos materiales. Su propuesta nos invita a mirar más allá de las apariencias y a cuestionarnos qué es aquello que decidimos revelar.
SYRIE JO
Artista contemporánea multidisciplinar que indaga en las emociones y la memoria a través de la pintura y las técnicas mixtas. Con más de dos décadas de trayectoria independiente, su producción oscila entre paisajes, corazones escultóricos y cielos irisados. Su arte entrelaza color, luz y simbolismo, transformando vivencias personales en reflexiones sobre la esperanza y el cambio.
JOHN HUNTER
Expresionista abstracto de origen británico afincado en Gibraltar. A través de Venandi Art, ha desarrollado un lenguaje visual muy personal marcado por el protagonismo del color, la textura y el movimiento. En 2026, su obra See What You See fue seleccionada entre las 80 finalistas del Certamen de Pintura TARGET de Madrid, tras competir con casi 2.000 candidaturas de todo el mundo.
GILL WELLAND
Artista contemporánea cuyos trabajos giran en torno a la identidad, la emoción, la resiliencia y la fortaleza femenina. Moviéndose entre la figuración y la abstracción, combina colores intensos, un trazo expresivo y técnica mixta. Su obra refleja vivencias tanto individuales como colectivas y ha sido expuesta a nivel internacional en España, Gibraltar, Reino Unido, Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Estados Unidos y Nigeria.
SIAN FABER
Afincada en Gaucín, en plena Sierra de Ronda, la artista de abstracción figurativa Sian Faber siente una verdadera fascinación por el movimiento. «Si está en movimiento, me interesa capturar la acción», afirma. Su estilo expresivo combina el trazo continuo, la técnica mixta, el cristal de Murano y plumas de buitre leonado. Licenciada en Bellas Artes en Nueva Zelanda, Faber cuenta con una trayectoria expositiva internacional de más de 30 años.
GEORGINA PEARCE
Artista abstracta que trabaja con técnicas mixtas y pan de metales preciosos. Su obra explora la luz, los reflejos y su impacto en el espacio. Utilizando pan de oro, plata y cobre, sus lienzos mutan según cambia la luz y el punto de vista. Inspirada por el sol, la luna y el cielo nocturno, Georgina crea piezas de gran formato que conjugan el espacio negativo con luminosas superficies metálicas.
JAQUELINE ALMAGRO CHIAVARINE
Inspiradas en Sotogrande y su paisaje costero, estas obras elaboradas con resina y técnica mixta generan un recuerdo efímero del entorno. Se trata de piezas sensoriales que indagan en la luz, la transparencia y la profundidad, creando ilusiones ópticas que cambian según la perspectiva. Whispers of the Ocean habla de escuchar la memoria del mar; Fossilised Sunset, de preservar el tiempo; y Guardian of the Ocean, de proteger el equilibrio entre la naturaleza y la humanidad.

BENJAMIN GOLD
Contemporary artist whose mixed-media works explore identity and human connection. He fragments and reconstructs faces and forms, combining texture, colour and materials. His work invites us to look beyond appearance—to question what we reveal.
SYRIE JO
Multidisciplinary contemporary artist exploring emotion and memory through painting and mixed media. With more than 20 years as an independent artist, her work moves between landscapes, sculptural hearts and rainbow skies. Her art connects colour, light and symbolism, transforming personal experiences into reflections on hope and change.
JOHN HUNTER
Abstract Expressionist originally from the UK and based in Gibraltar. Through Venandi Art, he has developed a distinctive visual language where colour, texture and movement lead. In 2026, See What You See was selected as a finalist in Madrid’s TARGET Painting Prize, among 80 finalists from nearly 2,000 submissions worldwide.
GILL WELLAND
Contemporary artist whose work explores identity, emotion, resilience and women’s strength. Working between figurative and abstract forms, she combines bold colour, expressive mark-making and mixed media. Her work reflects personal and collective experiences and has been exhibited internationally across Spain, Gibraltar, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, America and Nigeria.
SIAN FABER
Based in Gaucín in the Sierra de Ronda, figurative abstract artist Sian Faber is fascinated by movement. “If it’s moving, I’m interested in capturing the action,” she says. Her expressive style combines continuous linework, mixed media, Murano glass and Griffon Vulture quills. A Fine Arts graduate from New Zealand, Faber has exhibited internationally for over 30 years.
GEORGINA PEARCE
Abstract artist working with mixed media and precious metal leaf. Her work explores light, reflection and their effect on space. Using gold, silver and copper leaf, her paintings shift with changing light and perspective. Inspired by the sun, moon and night sky, Georgina creates large-scale works combining negative space with luminous metallic surfaces.
JAQUELINE ALMAGRO CHIAVARINE
Inspired by Sotogrande and its coastal landscape, these resin and mixed-media works create an ephemeral memory of the surroundings. Sensory pieces exploring light, transparency and depth create optical illusions that shift with perspective. Whispers of the Ocean speaks of listening to the ocean’s memory; Fossilised Sunset, of preserving time; and Guardian of the Ocean, of protecting the balance between nature and humanity.
