La programación de verano 2026 reúne grandes citas internacionales de polo y golf, experiencias gastronómicas, música en directo, bienestar y actividades al aire libre entre junio y septiembre.
Sotogrande abre su temporada de verano con el objetivo de mantenerse como uno de los destinos lifestyle más atractivos del Mediterráneo, ofreciendo una agenda que combina deporte internacional, gastronomía de autor, cultura, música, bienestar y propuestas familiares repartidas entre junio y septiembre.
Polo, golf y naturaleza
El deporte vuelve a ser uno de los grandes motores del verano en Sotogrande. La temporada oficial de Ayala Polo Club concentra buena parte de la atención con competiciones como la Copa Joseph McMicking, el Open de España y el 55º Torneo Internacional de Polo, cuya Copa de Oro se disputará del 17 al 29 de agosto. Una de las citas más destacadas del circuito europeo que convierte a Sotogrande en punto de encuentro de jugadores de élite, aficionados y visitantes internacionales.
El golf aporta otro de los grandes atractivos del verano. Tras la celebración en Valderrama del LIV Golf Andalucía, que ha vuelto a poner a Sotogrande un año más en el foco de seguidores del golf de élite de todo el mundo, The Alto Club también se dedicará a los más pequeños con su Golf Summer Camp entre el 6 de julio y el 28 de agosto, especialmente diseñado para jóvenes de entre 6 y 16 años.
La oferta deportiva se completa con las excursiones en bicicleta eléctrica por el entorno natural de La Almoraima y la Reserva Natural del Parque de los Alcornocales, previstas para el 27 de junio, 25 de julio y 20 de agosto. Las rutas nocturnas permitirán descubrir la fauna y la flora del enclave en un formato guiado. En el mar, el Real Club Marítimo ofrecerá clases de iniciación a la vela y actividades de wingfoil durante toda la temporada.
Atardeceres, cine y vida social en La Marina
Los atardeceres también tendrán protagonismo propio con experiencias como los Après-Beach en The Beach de La Reserva Club, programados en junio, julio y agosto, que combinarán música Deep House de DJ HONDO con el mejor ambiente estival.
Para las familias, The Alto Golf Academy organizará un ciclo de cine al aire libre con proyecciones de títulos de animación como The Angry Birds Movie (16 de julio), Open Season (29 de julio), WALL·E (5 de agosto) y Ferdinand (19 de agosto). Por su parte, en la zona de la Marina, regresa un año más el Mercado Nocturno de Levante, las noches de miércoles y jueves de julio y agosto, además de su cita habitual cada domingo, que transforma La Marina en un espacio de artesanía, moda y gastronomía local.
Música, cultura y bienestar
La programación cultural tendrá como uno de sus epicentros el hotel SO/ Sotogrande. El 24 de julio se celebrará el Tributo a Queen by Granada Gospel Sounds con un elenco de 18 voces y coro góspel. En agosto llegará Andalusian Nights, una propuesta que unirá flamenco y arte ecuestre en los jardines del hotel, y posteriormente el espectáculo Noche Flamenca de la familia Vallejo.
Además, IXO Tapas & Bar mantendrá una programación musical semanal con rumba los viernes, cuadro flamenco los sábados y guitarra flamenca los domingos.
También en SO/ Sotogrande, su Spa & Wellness ofrecerá un programa continuo de actividades abiertas, incluyendo pilates, tai chi, GAP, cross training y sesiones de estiramientos para golfistas con circuito hidrotermal, crioterapia, flotación y tratamientos inspirados en elementos naturales de la zona.
Gastronomía con identidad mediterránea
Para esta temporada, el chef con estrella Michelin Nicolás Isnard impulsa en Cortijo Santa María 1962 un nuevo concepto AL-ANDALUS que reinterpreta sabores históricos del sur con una mirada contemporánea.
A partir del 1 de julio regresará también el Festival del Atún, con menús de tres, cinco y siete pasos centrados en este producto emblemático del litoral gaditano. En La Reserva Club, Ancala continuará desarrollando una propuesta que combina cocina nikkei y mediterránea, con especial protagonismo de los arroces.

Sotogrande opens its summer season with the aim of remaining one of the Mediterranean’s most attractive lifestyle destinations, offering a programme that combines international sport, fine dining, culture, music, wellness and family-friendly activities between June and September.
Polo, golf and nature
Sport is once again one of the great drivers of summer in Sotogrande. The official Ayala Polo Club season brings much of the spotlight, with competitions such as the Joseph McMicking Cup, the Spanish Open and the 55th International Polo Tournament, whose Gold Cup will be played from the 17th to the 29th of August. It is one of the most important events on the European circuit, turning Sotogrande into a meeting point for elite players, enthusiasts and international visitors.
Golf provides another major highlight of the summer. Following the LIV Golf Andalucía tournament at Valderrama, which has once again placed Sotogrande in the global spotlight for elite golf fans, The Alto Club will also cater for younger players with its Golf Summer Camp from the 6th of July to the 28th of August, specially designed for children aged between 6 and 16.
The sporting offer is completed with electric bike excursions through the natural surroundings of La Almoraima and the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, scheduled for the 27th of June, the 25th of July and the 20th of August. Night routes will allow visitors to discover the area’s wildlife and flora in a guided format. At sea, the Royal Sailing Club will offer introductory sailing lessons and wingfoil activities throughout the season.
Sunsets, cinema and social life in La Marina
Sunsets will also take centre stage with experiences such as the Après-Beach events at The Beach at La Reserva Club, scheduled for June, July and August, combining Deep House music by DJ HONDO with the finest summer atmosphere.
For families, The Alto Golf Academy will host an open-air cinema series featuring animated titles such as The Angry Birds Movie (16 July), Open Season (29 July), WALL·E (5 August) and Ferdinand (19 August). Meanwhile, in the Marina area, the Levante Night Market returns once again on Wednesday and Thursday evenings throughout July and August, as well as its regular Sunday edition, transforming La Marina into a space for crafts, fashion and local gastronomy.
Music, culture and wellbeing
The cultural programme will have one of its main hubs at the SO/ Sotogrande hotel. On the 24th of July, a Tribute to Queen by Granada Gospel Sounds will take place, featuring an ensemble of 18 voices and a gospel choir. In August, Andalusian Nights will bring together flamenco and equestrian art in the hotel gardens, followed by the Noche Flamenca performance by the Vallejo family.
In addition, IXO Tapas & Bar will maintain a weekly music programme with rumba on Fridays, flamenco ensemble on Saturdays and flamenco guitar on Sundays.
Also at SO/ Sotogrande, its Spa & Wellness will offer a continuous programme of open activities, including pilates, tai chi, GAP, cross training and stretching sessions for golfers, alongside hydrothermal circuits, cryotherapy, flotation and treatments inspired by the area’s natural elements.
Gastronomy with a Mediterranean identity
For this season, Michelin-starred chef Nicolás Isnard introduces a new AL-ANDALUS concept at Cortijo Santa María 1962, reinterpreting historic southern flavours with a contemporary approach.
From the 1st of July, the Tuna Festival will also return, offering tasting menus of three, five and seven courses centred on this iconic product of the Cadiz coastline. At La Reserva Club, Ancala will continue to develop a concept combining Nikkei and Mediterranean cuisine, with special emphasis on rice dishes.
